Bio

Amy Bay is a painter based in Portland, OR. She has exhibited her work at Nisus Gallery, Occasional Gallery, Project Grow and Spaceworks Tacoma in the Northwest as well as Peninsula Art Space, The Painting Center, The Drawing Center, Printed Matter, Brooklyn Public Library, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, and The Carriage House at The Islip Art Museum. She has shown internationally in both group and solo shows in Canada, South Korea, England, Spain and Estonia and has been awarded grants and projects from the Regional Art and Culture Council, The Lower East Side Printshop, Dieu Donné Papermill and Women's Studio Workshop. Bay received her BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from Winchester School of Art.  Additionally, she completed the London-based Turps Banana Correspondence Course for painters. She teaches through Portland Community College and Village Home Education Resource Center.
